I have a free account and am experimenting with this host. I have put a small file (about 30 kb), which I'd like to download, in a folder which is at the same level as index.html. I've added something like this to the index page:

<a href="mylogin.100webspace.net/FilesForDownload/USP.doc">usp</a>

Clicking that link just takes me to my control panel. I haven't been able to find any material in the forums or faqs about placement of a file to be downloaded, or anything special I need to do with its attributes or permissions. I don't want to download the file with the file manager, but by means of the link.

Can someone point me to a source of information?
