For the folks on free accounts and are getting unable to connect to the database message, this may fix the issue.

In your program configuration change the database host to:

mysql1.100ws.com

I hope this helps fix these issues.

This is part of an email I sent to Support, it should answer most of your questions.

Question:
Quote:
Just a quick question so I can post a reply to the Forum, are all the free hosting database names "mysql1.100ws.com"?

Answer:
Quote:
All users must edit their database hosts to mysql1.100ws.com instead of
some ip address. Even if the user is to the old IP address when he is
set mysql1.100ws.com it will be auto pointed to the new ip's which we
put when moving the server.

Each program is different, it should be documented with the program install instructions.

The problem with our database server - mysql1.100ws.com is resolved. Really sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I can't seem to find the program configuration you guys are talking about. I've looked all through the CPanel, and I haven't found anything that would look like it. I know I'm a moron and I've overlooked something, but I think I've looked at every setting. Can anyone help?

You won't fing yuor program configuration on the cpanel, it's one of the files in the program your trying to run.
