Once you sign up, you can create a subdomain from within the control panel. You can also delete the default one, so this is actually a way of choosing the subdomain.

what do you mean? how do u go about doing it?
are u referring to change of *.subdomain.net or username.*.* ?

i actually meant how do i go about changing username.*.*?

You can't change your cPanel UserID, but you can change your sub-domain. Example you got your site from madpage.com. And you register your account with 123 as your id. Your domain will be http://123.madpage.com/ But if you don't like it you can change it to other.
