Greetings,

Dont worry, you do not have to re-install. When I was starting out, all I did when I made a mistake is I re-installed everything... But that was 100% waist of time.

Ok.
Open your phpMyAdmin, go to phpbb_config table, and within a couple of those pages you should find something about phpBB Directory or something, and change it to your current one. Then save it... and you should be fine. :D

Greetings,

I am just wondering, but are you a registered user here? Anyways,

 Login into phpMyAdmin
 Open phpbb_config
:arrow: Find ::
Quote:
server_name www.domain.com
server_port 80
script_path /

And change your script_path to /phpBB2/ or what ever the directory that your phpBB2 is located in. :D

Also, please visit The Tech Base - www.thetechbase.com :D :D and register! :D

I've downloaded the statistic mod for php and ofcourse I RTFM. :)

Am i wrong or is that mod only for showing the week and months top posters and most used language on the phpbb2 forum ? That's not what i want, i want to see the number of visits of registered and unregistered users on my forum.

Who can help ?

Greets Thijs from the Netherlands

Renton as far as im aware if you are using the free account you do not have access to the smtp server, it is only available on a paid service.

Someone correct me if im wrong.

you sdhould use FTP to upload all of the files to your host.... you CAN use the filemanager but that would take a really LONG time

You MySQL username is the same as the database name, example. if your database name is username_db, then your username will be the same accordingly.
