This is my problem right here:
http://sportunity.tollfreepage.com/viewtopic.php?t=5

The error returned is: Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /viewtopic.php on this server.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at sportunity.tollfreepage.com Port 80

I only get this when trying to view an announcemnt or stickied thread. Also, using the modcp on on of those tupe of threads results in the same warning.

How do I fix this?

Hey,

I just tried viewing the Announcements and the topics there and everything seems to be working here on this end.

Although when I clicked on the link that you provided I did get the Forbidden Error. Could you please tell me what is in that topic? Or the contents of that topic. Thank you.

It's not the announcements section, but rather, any post that is classified as a "sticky" or "announcement".

Gimmick Accounts:
• Gimmick accounts are allowed
• Any user that becomes suspended will lose all gimmick accounts
• Any user that becomed banned will lose all accounts
• Warnings are cumulative (i.e, 2 warnings on one account and 2 on another equals 4 warnings)

Suspension & Banning
• Three warnings (within a reasonably short time) will result in suspension
• Three warnings within a month's time after a suspension will result in banning
• Suspension length is one week, plus an addition week for every instance of suspension for the given user
• In extreme cases, the 3 Warning rule can be bypassed and immediate suspending, or banning if necessary, can be implemented
• Only the Administrators have the authority to actually suspend or ban a user
• All warnings can be found by asking a moderator at their helpdesk.

Advertising
• Advertising is not allowed outside of signatures
• Advertising is any form of promotion of other websites, especially those with spoets content

• Content not written by yourself and not properly credited may credit a Warning, and will probably be deleted

Common Courtesy
• Signatures may have a non-animated image that does not exceed 600 x 100 pixels in dimension. Failure to comply will result in a deletion of the image. Continuous offenses may result in a Warning
• Users are not to use mod text or anything similar. Doing so constitutes a warning
• Avoid posting in ALL CAPS, as doing so may eventually lead to Warnings
• All posts must be made in a mannor so that they are easily understandable by all members of the site. Failure to comply will result in a warning.
