Greetings,

Well ... I think its kind of funny. But anywho, to start off with, that is horrible (dont take any offense or anything, like you said, you are not good at web design.) Anywho, I suggest going and reading the fundamentals in web design. :D

The forum is what's bugging me. A flash website is always cool, but your forum, no offense, sucks. However, that's ok. I happen to be an expert in ProBoards forums. If you need any help. I'd be glad to assist you in any way I can :)

With regard to the forum, I just created the account and I haven't had time to actually make any boards or really do any designing. I only got to experiment with a few colors. Anyhow, I'm gonna try to find the time soon to actually work on it!

i think your site looks great in a way. but then again, what PsychoticDude85 said was right. You ages are different sizes and i think you have to senter it a bit more, beacse im on a 17 inch widescreen laptop and there is a huge emptyness and the ad throws you so its like your looking in the corner. Other wise it looks great.
you also need to ad more conent cause there is nothing there. What ive looked at, theres no information and at the mement, they just looked like linkd.

Your forum coulours do not go well. It just looks like looking at a blue screen.
you need to fix that up a bit

Website made entirely out of flash? Erm... That is a real web design no-no. Have a read of this to avoid a lot of beginners' mistakes in future.

As it is: too many badly blended gradients with no coherant colour scheme; random sizing between pages; too large and incoherant typography (fonts); the navigation is clunky, overly bulky and oppresive; the contact page doesn't work etc etc ad infinitum.

I agree that you should start over with a clear grasp of what makes a good site. A few things to look out for:

Portability - having it work everywhere - can your webpage be viewed in a text-only browser and still have it make sense?
Clear, clean design - an orderly look without random flashy things you thought might look good at the time and stuck into the design for good measure.

I wont add more to that at the moment, since you should learn the basics before getting into the other important parts of a good website. Most importantly - learn HTML and use it. Flash has a purpose, and that is web applications and games, NOT WEBSITES.

That article was well said, I agree with it 100% and I thank you for posting the link to it, I agree on the aspects of Open Source messing with PHP beginners learning, I know people that have asked for my help installing programs, have a web site, and yet have no idea how to use FTP... Open source is a great way to start and compare your scripts, but sometimes some people take it and never try to actually understand what they are using.

Proboards? Yikes. Try to install PHPBB, SMF, IPB or VBulletin. :P

Anyone actually interested in using flash might like to read this http://www.eduweb.com/to_flash_full.html

Plus anyone giving people a hard time using flash in the first place. I agree it`s inpractical and encourages bad practise a "lot" of the time but if the target user prefers a flash site over standard html then why not give it to them?

cheers
