 Post subject: MySQL database trouble

I cannot access to the database mysql, every time that I try to access there gives me this error message

"Could not connect to the database"

and this problem it's giving for several days

please help me

Well, one of the following has happened:
1. You have not installed the software / edited the configuration information correctly.
2. Your hosts MySQL down.

the problem could be wrong attributes of the mysql_connect (or mysql_pconnect) command. Make sure you enter the username, database name and password.

Yes, please check the following:

You have the correct database details in the configuration of the script.
The script was installed properly.
Your hosts MySQL isn't down (Lookout for other people on the forum complaining about the same problem).

If you are still getting the error open a trouble ticket and the staff will give you more support on the matter.
