I have a site running Mambo, i wish to turn the option "SEF" on (search engine friendly urls). I have to check 3 things i am not sure about:

1) Is the server my site is hosted on running Apache?
2) Is the mod_rewrite option enabled?
3) Does the server allow .htaccess override

If one of the administrators or moderators can answer my question I would appreciate it very much

Sorry, but I'd like to know when you disabled it. I'm just curious (to estimate how long my pages could have not been working :P), since it worked fine sometime ago (I was using it for that so-called "search engines friendly urls".

Anyway, thank you for letting us know (I think many people was still trying to make it work and wondering what they were making wrong ;)).

Regards,
José Jorge Enríquez.
