Dear all;

Please, I have this script under my project but it seems it is not working.

It goes....

<?php
$message = "Message - testing testing";
mail('cication@yahoo.com', 'My Subject', $message);
?>

I am using a paid service not free service. (Not a free account)

However, I have had about SMTP. But how shoud I set it up, I mean how should I use it. My mails can not go through. Is there any thing I can do on the above script.

I have been told by support at 100webspace that their SMTP is....

SMTP (outgoing mail server) = mail.freestarthost.com

But how can I use it. Where can put it in the above script to enable send out mail when a page is activated

Thank you;

Andrew

Hey,

I recommend going to PHP and searching there. I do know the answer, but you need to know how to use your resources as I have and others have! :D

To be a bit more helpful than Cipher..

Be sure to check the 'additional headers' section.

Hey,

I was being helpfull. But see here is what I dislike:
1. People who just quit and stop trying because they 'Cant' or they can not find a solution right away. I use to be like that, and I will let you know know that you will not learn it as easy. This is what I did when I first started HTML, but now Im very experienced at HTML, most XHTML, CSS, and other simple design languages.

Agreed, sometimes when I code PHP it takes literally FOREVER to figure out how to do something, but after I figure it out, I know how to do it really fast in the future :)
