I'm using an IFRAME to display a .txt file on my web page http://leosuo.100webspace.net and was wondering how I could get the text to wrap instead of continue horizontally?

I was also wondering if I could pick the colour of the IFRAME's background?

And would this be possible to do without breaking into JavaScript

Thanks super cool forum people!

I'm not familiar with iframes. Why not just use tables? The rest of your page already uses them, so why not just add in another cell in the existing table and format the colors there?

because i wanted to restrict the size of the text area to be shown using a scroll feature. But you just gave me an idea. I could stick in a TEXTAREA and call the text in through php because you can prefill the textarea with text (i think).

I tried the PHP and it worked, but the textarea box was a bad idea. It appears to be different sizes on different OS, even though i used the same browser.

I'm going to try the CSS one method next.

I really didn't want to get too involved with CSS, but now you have made me lust after it

Thanks :D

Yep - the text area looks a lot better now.

I think the only downside to CSS is that there's a bit of a learning curve involved as opposed to table design which is just a matter of sticking things together on a page - easy but slightly messy.
