Hi, I have some ajax (httpRequest) functionality on my site that checks for an existing string in a text field and returns the result in the ajax response. Problem is, in that response, the 100 webSpace banner appears as well.

How can I suppress the banner behaviour here?

Note: the banner is already visible in the page so I am not asking to break the terms of service agreement here.

Thanks.

The outgoing connections to remote servers are not allowed for the free hosting accounts. You could always upgrade your account to paid one, for instance Personal or above and you will be able to use outgoing connections.

Best Regards,
Jimmy

Hi, the connection talks to a script on the same server. The script checks the MySQL db, also on the same server. There is no connection to an outside server.

Since you use 'httpRequest' function your script is trying to make an outgoing connection through http even it is leading to the local server.
