Gimp looks like the imaging program I've been looking for. Spent alot of time there. If anyone is interested in graphics you should see this site. It shows what a user group has done with it. I'm amazed and want to learn it. http://gug.sunsite.dk/gallery.php I had to download 4 files. I wanted the animation and help files too. They are in zip format. Know I need to unzip them first but how do I make sure all the files are in the same directory/folder or somewhere where they will all be once unzipped? I have win xp with no partioned HD. Thanks. the sample site I gave will seem slow. I have cable connection and is slow for me unless time of day is bad. I meant to mention this. |

What do you mean? As long as you downloaded the Win32 version (make sure it's not for Linux or the source or anything like that.), there will only be one file inside each zip. If you're using winzip, just right-click, hit open with WinZip, click the installation file and hit "Install" on the Winzip bar. (Though make sure you install them in this order: GTK Gimp [Then the other two]) |
