Hello everyone :). To the point: the ad banners keep disappearing . They show up for a couple of seconds (7 seconds to be exact) after which they simply vanish as if they're not there . The strange thing is that when I look at the source of the page (through the View->Source of the Internet Explorer), the source of the banners is there. This thing began happening this afternoon :evil: . Not that it's bothering me 8) , but I don't know if it's happening only on my PC or is it some sort of global flaw. By the way, I asked a frien of mine to test this on his PC and it happened again (he used IE6 and Opera). As a comment to the help ticket I sent, the support dude told me:
The problem is on your side.
Everything seems to work fine.
But i getting a bit confused with this, because I'll have to show this site on Tuesday in order to graduate high school :), so please tell me something. I think I'll try using 2 frames asd a frameset, so that the ad banners will appear on the top frame (wich will be completly empty :twisted: ) and the REAL site will be in the second frame. So here's the current code of the page (It's a shoot-you-in-the-head stupid basic HTML code just to let you see what the problem is :)):

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<title>Ludmila Balabanova-Karakehaiova's Personal Website</title>
</head>

<body>
Hello World !!!
</body>
</html>
the URL to thee site is: http://ludmila-k.freestarthost.com/
Plkease see for youselves what happens and write back here. Bye from me for now.

P.S: I haven't touched any of the default setting of my Internet browser (IE6) or of my firewall (Zonealarm). I hope to hear from you soon. :)

Greetings,

No I believe its a problem on your side. I have opened your site, and I have left it for about 3 minutes. The banners have not left or gone anywhere. I see the banners and Hello World !!!. Anyways, let me know what you think.

Hi again :),
Well i still can't figure out what the problem is, but it doesn't really matter all that much. 100x for the reply you gyus :). Just in case this happens on the prsentation of the site, I'm using a frameset to make sure nothing will affect the desing of the page. Please look at it and tell me if it's OK with you to do it that way.
By the way, I would like to ask something a bit off topic. Is it legal to put a "Google Search"-type form on the site ??? Here's the source I'm plannig to use:
<form id="search" action="">
<input name="searchFor" type="text" size="10">
<a href="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=<? echo searchFor; ?>">search</a>
</form>

It's kind of crude, but I think it'll work. I heard that putting such a form was paid, but I'm not exactly sure. Viperio, []-> :)

Hello, to add a google search to your site, use the following:

<form method="get" action="http://www.google.com/search">
Google Search:
<br><input type="text" name="q" width="20">
<br><input type="submit" value="Search">
</form>
