What exactly does this mean:

Quote:
This website has exceeded its maximum quota of online users and your request cannot be processed at the moment.
Please try again in 15 seconds.

Theres no way there could have been too many users online, i'd only just setup the website - the only link to it is in my signature.

Also, what is the maximum quota of online users?

And should we not be able to set our own error page for this too?

At first I thought it was the website itself, but i'm getting it on both my domains so I am now led to believe that its the server, however I could be wrong.

I too have never seen it, so something must be up.

Whoa... likewise, never seen that error before. Figures, in the middle of trying to backup my site so I can do some major edits offline. Bah, not to mention I just made some changes to the domain, so I can't even check to see if my site is displayed (thought it prolly wouldn't be).

Bah, was wanting to get some work done today :P Hopefully its back up soon.

I'm in the same situation as you KaitLynn, i've been having some CSS problems in Mozilla on my new design and was hoping to get them sorted today. Oh well, lets just hope that they will be back up soon, as at the minute i've got no idea what the problem is or what caused it.

Well it's defiantly a server prob cause I was searching around forums click on domains and they either got the to many users thing or never came up. Seems like this is getting to be a really widespread issue.

Believe it or not, I get this about once or twice a week (probably more but i'm not on it 24hrs a day).

I'm led to believe that its a problem with the database - probably shared amongst loads of other people meaning that even if you've only had one or two hits, and another site has loads, it'll kick people off until such a time the strain on the database is corrected.

Obviously correct me if I'm wide of the mark.
