We are experiencing some Internet connectivity problems with the servers in one of our data centers (OrangeFiber).
The issue is due to a network connection problem in the datacenter. The entire rack is offline. We are in touch with the datacenter and hopefully this will be solved in shortly. However the servers are up and running but due to the connection problem are inaccessible.

We have received a report from our data center about the situation with the offline servers. Here is what their representative provided about the situation:
"The transformer room for our building, where our transfer switch is located is flooded.
From what I've been able to gather, is that the building's fire suppression system has malfunctioned and is pumping water into the underground transformer room, and has caused our equipment, as well as our utility provider's equipment Centerpoint, to automatically shutdown to avoid damage.

The Houston Fire Department is at the scene now attempting to shut off water flow and pump the water out, so that Centerpoint can begin work on restoring power.

I will update further as I can.

Please be sure we are working on this as fast as possible - it is 4AM on a Saturday, and we are unflinching in making sure this is getting resolved ASAP."



HELLO 3 QUESTIONS:

1. COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE AN NEW UPDATE, AND POSSIBLE EACH 3-4 HOURS OF LATEST NEWS ON THIS, SINCE THIS IS IMPORTANT SITUATION? ENTIRE BANK OF YOUR SERVERS DOWN, EVEN YOUR OWN SITES 100WS.COM. PLEASE, ANY POST BRINGS HOPE EVEN IF ITS JUST "OK WATER IS DOWN TO HALF" OR "LOOKS LIKE 6 HOURS MORE". ANY NEWS YOU TYPE IS HELPFUL.

2. AND COULD THERE BE SOME BACKUP WAY TO GET SOME SITE BACK UP IF SITUATION LASTS LONGER THAN 28 HOURS? MAYBE LIKE CHANGE THE DNS OF THE DOWN SERVERS TO POINT TO A NEW WORKING SERVER? [farvista.net]

3. AT LEAST IS THERE SOME WAY TO GET IN TO DOWNLOAD A BACKUP OF THE WEBSITE, AT LEAST THE MYSQL DATABASE? BECAUSE RIGHT NOW I CANT EVEN GET INTO the CPANEL OR FTP OR SITE... NOTHING. CAN YOU THINK OF SOME WAY FOR US?

WELL. YOUR SITE IS UP NOW AFTER ABOUT 10-12 HOURS. BUT YOU SEE THE PROBLEM WAS YOUR WHOLE SYSTEM WAS DOWN, SO ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO OPEN A TROUBLE TICKET.

GOING TO CONTROL PANEL TO CREATE A TICKET = 404 SITE NOT FOUND.
GOING TO VIEW OWN WEBSITE = 404 SITE NOT FOUND.
GOING TO 100WEBSPACE.COM = 404 SITE NOT FOUND.
GOING TO WWW.FARVISTA.NET = 404 SITE NOT FOUND.
GOING TO 100WS.COM = 404 SITE NOT FOUND.
GOING TO http://100webspace.net/ = 404 SITE NOT FOUND.
GOING TO CP.100WS.COM = 404 SITE NOT FOUND.
GOING TO 100WEBSPACE.COM = UP! (so I could get to this forum only)

First off, my website monitor showed "Total Time on Error: 6 hours, 39 minutes, 23 seconds".

Second, it has been posted here dozens of times, if the CP is unavailable you can always send an email to support@100webspace.com which is just as fast as opening a support ticket.
