Over the last few hours I've been experiencing sporadic slowdowns. I can access other websites with no problems, but accessing the control panel involves a 2 minute wait. I'm getting this on FTP too, and I'm on a .gov.uk FDDI link with Squid 2.5 cache proxy. (and I use a free host? lol...)

It seems that there is a problem with the freelinuxhost.com server. I have informed our administrators and they will fix this promptly.

The server is down for a reboot and maintenance, it will be up again very soon. I will post a reply as soon as this is fixed.

I have been experiancing problems with freelinuxhost.com as well. It is usually not acessing the MySQL database but now I'm getting an Internal Error

In the last week this is when the site has been down ( I had my members repot the down times on my forum. ) This is just this last week but it is a typical week for me.

All Times are GMT -6

Friday Feb 4.- 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday Feb 5.- 3:00am - 6:00am
7:00am - 10:00am
5:00pm - 12:00am (Sunday)

Sunday Feb 6.- Twice more in the morning ( times unspecified )
12:00pm - 3:00pm

Monday Feb 7.- 4:15am - 4:30am
5:15am - 5:30am

Thursday Feb 10.- 3:30am - 4:00am

Friday Feb 11.- 1:00pm - 4:20pm
4:28pm - 4:38pm
7:32pm - now ( site is still down )

My site has yet to come back online and it is now 1:03 GMT -6 I have opened over 4 tickets on this issue since upgrading to a paid account on freelinuxhost.com and yet it still happens 3-4 times a week for over an hour or more at a time. What is up with that server?

site url is http://magickalforest.com

Seems to be okay again now, but I wonder how long for. It's been playing up alot in the last week or so, just hope they do sort this out.

Oh, and I've noticed since the first downtime PHP MyAdmin and general site accesses are noticeably faster. Anyone else noticed that or is it my imagination?

It was up for a couple of hours but just went down again :? Freelinuxhost seems to have problems with it database. I keep losing it in my CP. Where it says MySQL MB it is showing 0mb when it should say 4mb. It does this all the time and usually stays down for an hour or two a a time. During such time I can't load any of the pages on my CP either. Has anyone else had this problem? Is something being done or is there nothing that can be done *shrugs*

We do our best to limit such problems to a minimum. We appreciate yoru assistance, so please report problems, but make sure that they have not been reported already.

Also don't forget to mention your username and the server that you are referring to.
