Hello everyone, after reading this post
http://forum.100webspace.com/viewtopic.php?t=1350 I decided to take it upon myself to create a nice frontend for the Backup script. After a few hours of work I came up with something nice.
To start using it on your website, download
this ZIP file, install it to yourwebspace at a secure location
http://www.yourwebsite.com/backup01. Then go to the location that you installed it and follow through the steps, when you get to the Destination Folder step, leave it alone, the /home/www/backups folder will be created automatically. After backing up your site, connect to your FTP and open the /backups folder, the file will be named like the following:
Example: You backup
www.rm249.com, the filename will be www_rm249_com_date_time_stuff_here. Just download that file and you now have a backup of your website. If you are unable to extract the file, I recomend WinRAR from
http://www.rarlab.com/.
The theme to the Backup Manager was from the ZIP Extractor Script located at
http://forum.100webspace.com/viewtopic.php?t=2276.
The author of that template is
http://www.christoffer.demon.nl/ as stated in the Footer of the backup manager.
