IT News: Nintendo Plans Worldwide Launch for REVOLUTION

In an interview with Nikkei Business, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed the company’s intentions of launching its next-generation console, codenamed REVOLUTION, simultaneously around the world.

"I can only say that it's coming out during 2006, but it will be after the current fiscal year (ending March 31, 2006). We hope to make it a simultaneous worldwide release as much as it's possible."

If this actually happens, Nintendo would be after Microsoft the second console maker to ever accomplish a worldwide release.

Ken, you better start working hard to figure out a worldwide PlayStation 3 launch!

The revolution is going to be cool, you are supposed to be able to download old games for the Nintendo, N64, & the SNES for a small fee

I hope Nintendo is successful with this system because I would hate to see Nintendo die off.

Although,

I hate Nintendo because all they have is Super Mario and thats old now! They better come out with some good games now!

The originality of the games dont necesarily help Nintendo, I think that the originiality in the actual SYSTEMs are what helps them out
