Hello,
I have a friend who is a writer and has handled web content management using a CMS in previous jobs. He is considering a new job and is finding that many want not only CMS experience but some Javascript and CSS knowledge to complement that. Does anyone have any input on what javascript/css is most valuable for a writer that handles some web content management responsibilities? Is anyone aware of any sites that cater to learning javascript/css to become a more advanced CMS user?

Thanks you for any advice you can offer.

Hello,

In this case your friend can simply check out tutorial and training sites such as 'https://www.w3schools.com' which have exercises after the tutorials. This will allow him to learn javascripting and css, which can afterwards be used in CMS systems for variety of purposes.
