phpBB3 is still in beta. It's ok for a test enviroment, but I wouldn't use it on a live enviroment just yet.

Hahaha, I'm sorry for my really bad english.

Right now I have installed a "very similar" theme like default of phpbb3 (proSilver).

Look in http://foro.tecnogomosos.net

But, is not a phpBB 3 theme, is a adaptation.

Not sure what the OP's problems were but the things preventing me installing are as follows :

HTTP input character conversion:
mbstring.http_input must be set to pass. - no

HTTP output character conversion:
mbstring.http_output must be set to pass. - no

In order to solve this problem you will need to use a custom created php.ini file. Create this file in the folder where is located the install.php file. It must contains the following command lines:

mbstring.http_input pass
mbstring.http_output pass

Thank you. I had been trying similar things but I think mostly either got the exact syntax wrong or had been putting the file in the wrong place (hence thinking it didn't work).

Hello, I've been using a phpBB2 forum for a while and now I am trying to install phpBB3, I do it without a problem, but when I start to convert the database from the old forum to the new forum, it crash. Does anyone do the convert feature on phpBB3?

I haven't heard of one, but if you do require one then I can only assume that it would either be on the phpBB website, or in the phpBB 3 download package.

Sorry, I've explained badly. I mean, has anyone installed a phpBB3 forum and converted the phpBB2 database to phpBB3 with success?.
