In the PHPBB forums, can you make it so a user has to post a certain amounts of posts to post something in another section of the forum?

How do you do it if you can?

Greetings,

Yes you can. You can do this with 'modifications'. I recommend searching www.phpbb.com and www.phpbbhacks.com for the mod. :D

If you've found the mod that you are looking for, you can try to see if the mod is EMC (easyMod compliant) easyMod will make installing mods a lot easier.

Yeh, most mods nowadays are EMC. Half of them that say they are not just need 1 or two sentance rewording.

Unless you enjoy getting hacked, or you want to pay $25 for support, I would suggest going a different route. If you have an account here, your mysql space will be used up in a flash, a lot of the MODs have security holes, you can only use 6 different styles unless you pay $25 to download the rest which is like a total of around 50. Lets just say I warned you.
