I've just been looking around the phpBB site and found this:

http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=220101

I noticed a few people round here have been having trouble with the lack of email facilities with the free hosting accounts so this might be useful if you're using phpBB. This seems to turn it off totaly, rather than just for individual things like sending passwords, PM's, etc.

Disclaimer: I haven't used phpBB yet and don't know much about it, so I've no ides if this is any good, or even works at all. Suck it and see! :D

This is great for all of our free sites. I'm moving to a paid host with my friends dads place (sorry webspace, I'd go with you but I don't want to have to worry about my parents credit card expireing and shyte).

So I don't have to worry, I might use it on my free forums though for peoples that get really feed up with it.

Thanks for this great MOD!
